DELIVERY

All Fairmont Reed deliveries are made by our in-house team to ensure that the whole process goes as smoothly as possible.

Once your order is accepted we will contact you via email and you will be invited to complete a simple online form that will cover some important questions in relation to your delivery. You will also be required to upload a video showing the route from the threshold of your property to the final location of your furniture item(s).

Once these steps are complete we will then contact you to finalise your actual delivery date and estimated time.

On the day prior to this delivery date you will receive a reminder via email of your imminent delivery.

Once the delivery team are en route they will contact you to confirm their ETA. 

Exclusions and Restrictions

Whilst we make every effort to be as flexible as possible with our delivery service, due to the larger size and weight of some of our products, we may be unable to deliver to certain locations such as, but not restricted to, those outlined here. For example, properties with narrow staircases and/or corridors, multi-storey buildings with lift access only to higher floors, properties with permanent fixtures (radiators for example) that will impede the delivery or locations where it is not possible to get a delivery vehicle within a close enough proximity to make the delivery.

Restrictions of a geographical nature may also apply if the proposed address is outside of our normal delivery area as defined on the map on this page.

Video or photographic submission

To ensure that your delivery goes as smoothly as possible we may at our discretion request video or photographs of the delivery route within the property so we can properly ascertain that the delivery is feasible. This video will only be used for the purposes of assessing access for your delivery and will be deleted once your delivery is complete.

Notifications

Once your order is complete, arrangements will be made to get your item(s) to you and a member of our customer service team will get in touch via phone or email to discuss this.

Large/Heavy Items

In the case of larger/heavier items such as dining tables, DektonĀ® or Natural Stone items, we will deliver your order items on our own vehicle and delivery team. A member of our customer service team will get in touch with you to arrange a time and date that is convenient, then go through any details that may be specific to your property with regards to access, parking at the delivery address and any other factors that may be relevant to your delivery. Whilst every effort will be made by our delivery team to complete your delivery in the agreed timeframe, this is not a guarantee due to factors outside our control such as traffic, weather etc.

Chargeable services

Certain deliveries may attract additional charges if they fall outside the scope of our normal delivery service. Several factors may cause these charges to be levied but typically they will be due to labour and/or specialist equipment costs that are necessary in certain circumstances. Should it become apparent that your delivery may require these additional charges we will contact you to discuss this prior to your order item(s) being manufactured.
